The solution

Are you an evangelist at heart? Better yet, do you have a desire to witness the gospel of Jesus to others. If so… then please keep reading!

Jesus last command to his disciples was to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19-20) this command still stands today! Every Christian also has a calling to be a witness and share the hope they have (1 Peter 3:15).

We are living in a time where people have become afraid by merely approaching them for a conversation. Many areas have restrictions and are not allowed to gather in large groups, this has affected churches. Yet the church has not been defeated, we, the people of God are the church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against us! (Matthew 16:17-19) We are living in an incredible time where bible prophecy is being fulfilled on the global stage! Rejoice that you were born for such a time as this!

Now, you may not be able to approach people and share the gospel. So, the below is an idea of how the gospel can be shared without human contact, at least a way we can sow seeds of the gospel and pray these seeds will grow! This is just a starting point… more will follow because we are to make disciples 😄

Nothing has been said about being able to send letters (as far as I’m aware), it’s still a relatively safe way of communicating according to governments and we should seize this opportunity. In a nutshell, this is what the idea is.

The below is a letter I wrote as an outreach tool (I will be getting this translated into Portuguese) It is the simple gospel message and the real solution that mankind needs. It has been written with basic information and records the sinners prayer to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and saviour. God willing, I plan to post this around my community and expand outwards. I believe that help will come and the gospel will be posted to every house in my district! Yes… it’s a huge plan but why not do it!?

How it’s done… print the letter (how ever many copies you want to!) Make sure you do not touch the paper much due to the virus situation (you could wear plastic gloves for the whole time even when posting) post the letter to your community or wherever the Holy Spirit leads you. Make sure the envelope is not sealed with your own saliva. Send the letter to whoever you believe may join the outreach. Then, after all this… pray that these seeds planted will grow and for God to establish connections!

Dear resident,

You need to know today how amazing you are; that you are not an accident in this world and that you were created with great purpose. Recent times have been difficult for many as we have battled the global pandemic together. Many have lost their jobs and sadly, some have lost their lives. It seems that governments do not have all the answers and neither does science. Both are working hard for a solution, but we do not know if the solution found will solve the global issues.

Many are asking… where is God? If God exists, then does he not care? How can a loving God allow such confusion and pain, surely a loving God would not do so? These are great questions! We are human and have feelings… of course these questions would be asked. How can they be answered?

It is important to note, God already provided the solution for humanity. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave His one and only son, that whoever believes in Him would not perish but have everlasting life. Many today do not realize that a solution was already provided. Does this mean the pandemic will end and all would return to normal? Unfortunately, it does not mean this right now… it does mean this in the future when God restores all of creation.

God provided an eternal solution for the everlasting soul of a human being. The solution was provided through Jesus Christ who through his death and resurrection re-unites the lost soul that was separated from God because of sin. The moment one believes in what was accomplished, the moment that person will be saved for eternity… the solution, therefore, must be accepted for the restoration of the human being.

The world has spiralled out of control because the world has turned from the creator. When humanity chooses its own path, the only result can be darkness because they walked away from the light. A light has shone in the darkness and the darkness cannot overcome it (John 1:5) You are not without hope this day! A deeper solution than any vaccination can offer is discovered when a human being surrenders to Jesus Christ for salvation.

You are loved and the father who sent His son desires to wrap his loving hands around you. However, God will not forcefully make anyone come to Him, He lovingly waits for you to accept His solution. The world is not the way it is because God does not care about us; it is the way it is because people do not care about God. Many societies have kicked God out of areas of influence, so God has given humanity the opportunity to run the world without Him. We are seeing the results of this unfortunate miss used freedom that God lovingly bestows upon mankind. Gods heart cries out for all people, but some people do not want to hear and have tuned into the Devils station.

If this is you, then today all of this can change.

The first step for a new life with God is to confess our sins and believe in Jesus Christ. We who are separated must be born again to begin our new life. We confess our sins; confess Jesus Christ as our saviour and ask for the Holy Spirit to fill our lives. Then we purchase a bible or read one online, connect with churches and other Christian’s and grow in this amazing love poured out for us through the cross of Jesus. We learn to pray and worship the God who invites you into His presence and this is how our journey continues until God gives us our new body prepared for eternity in His glory and presence.

If you are ready for this step today and if you want the eternal vaccination and long for hope but have never found it. Today is the day of salvation. Today is the day your new journey with Christ begins! Please say the prayer below

Lord Jesus, for too long I’ve kept you out of my life. I know that I am a sinner and that I cannot save myself. No longer will I close the door when I hear you knocking. By faith I gracefully receive your gift of salvation. I am ready to trust you as my Lord and saviour. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for coming to earth. I believe you are the son of God who died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead on the third day. Thank you for bearing my sins and giving me the gift of eternal life. I believe your words are true. Come into my heart, Lord Jesus, and be my saviour. Amen

If you prayed this prayer and meant it, be assured that Jesus Christ has saved you. You may feel strange or even doubt what you just prayed, this is completely normal. The next step is to grow in your new faith. You can do this by the following steps…

1) Read the bible – you can either buy one or read online via http://www.biblegateway.com

2) Pray – The Lords prayer is a great way to start – Matthew 6:9-13

3) Worship the living God – praise his name and read the Psalms

4) Connect with other Christians

This is just a few steps to begin your new exciting journey. Please do not be fooled thinking the journey will be easy. The difference now is that in everything you do, God is with you through it all!
